Columbus is Ohio's primary volleyball tournament hub, with the Greater Columbus Convention Center, the Schottenstein Center adjacent facilities, and a network of suburban sports complexes in Franklin, Delaware, and Licking counties.

The Columbus metro hosts multiple qualifier-level events each season, drawing teams from across Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and West Virginia. The Westland area, Dublin, and the northwest Columbus corridor have strong sports complex density. Downtown Columbus parking at the convention center uses adjacent garages and event surface lots; suburban complex venues are generally free surface parking.
